Warm Spring II Project, Nevada -USA

GeoDynamics Research – Italy carried out a second IPDS® survey in Nevada – USA, for its client US Oil and Gas plc. The target area was located into Hot Creek Valley and Railroad Valley.

The main purpose of this second survey is to substantiate the result of the prior survey, conducted at the beginning of August 2009, to ascertain possible location of hydrocarbon pools in the subsurface within the licensed concession using Geospectra IPDS® technology.

The measurement campaign was scheduled and performed between June and July 2011. The survey was carried out in respect of local environmental and archeological rules and regulations by three qualified GeoDynamics Research explorers.

During the entire duration of the survey, the field crew was accommodated in Tonopah, where all kind of facilities were offered.

All the Passive Seismic raw data acquired during the survey are under processing in the GeoDynamics Research Office in Italy and the final report will be finalized according to the planned time schedule.
